My name is Lauren. I am 14 years old and in third grade.

Next school year, I want to cross the ocean on a sailing ship as I discover who I am and how I can contribute to a more beautiful world. That is my dream.

With School At Sea, I am sailing around the world with 36 fellow 4th or 5th grade sailors. We live very consciously with nature and with each other. We sail, do our regular schoolwork, clean and maintain the ship ourselves and cook sustainably. In between we make the ocean cleaner and clean up beaches.

To be allowed to join School at Sea, I have to work on my own. On my Instagram I will keep you updated on my preparations and my trip. Fair winds! x
